Highly respected acute care facility is seeking a Supervisor of Ultrasound to guide the daily operations of a staff of 12. Using Acuson Sequoias and accomplishing 60 studies per average shift, you will use your people skills to oversee and guide a busy department responding to equally busy ED and OB departments. As a working supervisor you will also use your proven skills in Abdomen and OB and vascular studies to coordinate, prioritize and establish workflow patterns that provide the outstanding patient care that this institution is known for.
Requirements: A Bachelors degree and several years of experience overseeing Ultrasound operations, either as a Lead Technologist or as a Supervisor of Ultrasound. Additionally, a team spirit of caring and cooperation is essential along with ARDMS registry (AB and /or OB) and experience in vascular studies. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills are also required. Experience in busy environments demonstrated by a strong understanding of turn around time and how to manage work flow, is essential for success in this position.
