CTA/3D Technologist
MedQuest Associates, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Novant Health, is a leading operator of outpatient diagnostic imaging centers. With over 90 outpatient facilities across the nation, MedQuest centers provide high quality diagnostic imaging services using a variety of technologies including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, ultrasound, mammography and general radiology.
Currently, we are seeking an experienced Full-Time CTA/3D Technologist for our centers in Atlanta, Ga.
The 3D CT technologist is responsible for producing high quality images of anatomy and function. This technologist must have a good rapport with the cardiologist and radiologist. The 3D technologist must show proficiency operating the Vital images 3D workstation, and demonstrate an advanced understanding of all anatomy.
The CTA/3D technologist is required to help improve and partake in the QC process. Their participation in increasing the quality/flow of our CTA program is required.
The technologist will also be responsible for opening/expanding the CTA program and improving work flows, required for an efficiently functioning CT/CTA department.
Additional duties of this technologist are to train staff technologist to perform all CTA/3D rendering duties and remaining competencies in this area of Cat Scan. Taking call for CTA/3D studies will be required as needed until competencies are aligned and stable.
Qualified candidates must have:
· Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT registered and CT registered
