The Product Manager/ Sr. Product Manager is expected to be the “general manager of their respective franchise and responsible for cross functional needs to support the brands. Responsibilities include development and implementation of short and long term marketing strategies and goals for Specialty Oral Imaging franchise product(s) including product life cycle management. This position will be responsible for all aspects of specific product line(s), including planning, promotion, positioning, pricing strategies, forecasting, key opinion leader development, and sales support. The uniqueness of these products will require knowledge/expertise in early stage product life cycle development/market development activities, reimbursement and societal/ KOL development to increase awareness and adoption of these products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to maximize assigned franchise product line(s) and meet financial objectives
  • Develop pricing strategies and guidelines to optimize profit and mix to meet organizational objectives
  • Contribute to achievement of the Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty Index target by assisting
  • Develop promotional campaigns and tactics to positively position the brand and increase awareness and adoption.
  • Develop and implement effective product management and marketing programs linking clinical and economic expectations
  • Manage inventory and availability of the product portfolio to ensure steady supply to meet customer demand
  • Interface with sales to ensure the needs of field personnel are being met to support the sale of the product(s)
  • Update and monitor (annual) marketing plans to ensure business goals and objectives are achieved
  • Work with the medical to support/initiate market support studies and recommend regulatory activity to support (life cycle) management of the product(s).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: *BA/BS Degree in a relative field required, MBA preferred*Experience in marketing, Product Management, Finance and ideally a background or experience in healthcare sales – pharmaceutical background preferred. Domestic travel is required.
