Responsibilities:
The Imaging Services PACS Administrator provides quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. He/she utilizes clinical and educational scientific principles to focus on achieving the maximal health potential of the patient through planned care and collaborates with other healthcare providers to evaluate the outcomes of patient care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a recognized program in radiologic technology
• Current licensure by the Wyoming Board of Radiologic Technologists and registration by ARRT required
• BLS certification required
• Previous experience with PACS management preferred
• Certification and/or experience in two or more modalities required
• Must possess skills to effectively manage the PACS system and trouble shoot system malfunctions
• Must demonstrate acceptable knowledge of the RIS system and its integration with the PACS and HIS systems
• Must also work in the role of a Radiologic Technologist including other specialized modalities
