MEDICAL PHYSICIST

State of the art facility is looking for a temporary to full-time Medical Physicist with good people skills. Everything you could want in a mid-size town based in the heartland. 1. Certifications: ABR certified or ABR eligible required.
2. Licensure: N/A, no state license required.
3. Experience: Two or more years experience with Masters or PhD in Medical Physics needed.
4. Special Equipment/Procedures: The Medical Physicist will perform chart checks, Stereotactic plans, Seed implants, HDR treatment plans and treatments, check IMRT plans, IMRT chart checks, and map check of IMRT. Facility uses a Varian EX machine, but is in the process of moving to a Trilogy system. They are also transitioning from Pinnacle to Eclipse.
5. Environment: You will be working closely with the Chief Physicist. Facility is looking to add two Physicists within the year in addition to the Chief. Facility has three full-time Dosimetrists.
