About Radiology Jobs
According to the AMA, only 1.2% of physicians specialize in radiology (compare that with 16.7% of physicians that practice the specialty of internal medicine). The radiologist is unlike other physicians because diagnoses and interpretations are made from medical images. Images are taken in a variety of ways by using x-rays or with radioactive substances. Some images are produced by sound waves or the body's innate magnetism. Along with the medical image findings, a radiologist correlates them with other tests, and makes recommendations for additional examinations or treatments.(Source: radiologyinfo.com)
Busy Radiology group in Northwest Missouri seeks to add a board certified General Radiologist, some Angio would be a plus. The right person should be able to read 20-25k cases per year. Average day is 100 to 125 cases. Call is 1/9
Starting pay is $400k with exceptional benefits such as 401k, %750 car allowance first year, $10,000 CME first year, 12 weeks CME, $10k buy-in after first year, medical and dental insurance.
