About Radiology Jobs
According to the AMA, only 1.2% of physicians specialize in radiology (compare that with 16.7% of physicians that practice the specialty of internal medicine). The radiologist is unlike other physicians because diagnoses and interpretations are made from medical images. Images are taken in a variety of ways by using x-rays or with radioactive substances. Some images are produced by sound waves or the body's innate magnetism. Along with the medical image findings, a radiologist correlates them with other tests, and makes recommendations for additional examinations or treatments.(Source: radiologyinfo.com)
Interventional General Diagnostic 4 day week

This is a well established 60 year old group of 42 radiologists servicing 3 hospitals, they also own several out-patient imaging centers. They have lost only 3 people over a thirty year period.
The Interventional candidate must perform all Interventional procedures including Angios and Stents.
General Diagnostic Radiologist. Must perform all modalities, including Mammo,MRI,CT, and basic drainages and biopsies.
Call 1-5, 1-2 weekends a year. 4 day work week. No Nighthawk coverage, PAC in place.# Interventional candidate must perform all Interventional procedures including Angios and Stents.Equipment: 1.5 Tesla mag,( 2) 64 slice scanners,( 2 ) 16 slice CT scanners ..3 Tesla Mag.
