About Radiology Jobs
According to the AMA, only 1.2% of physicians specialize in radiology (compare that with 16.7% of physicians that practice the specialty of internal medicine). The radiologist is unlike other physicians because diagnoses and interpretations are made from medical images. Images are taken in a variety of ways by using x-rays or with radioactive substances. Some images are produced by sound waves or the body's innate magnetism. Along with the medical image findings, a radiologist correlates them with other tests, and makes recommendations for additional examinations or treatments.(Source: radiologyinfo.com)
Montana radiology group is beginning to look for a new Interventional Radiologist to join their group. This private practice has a one year to partnership job opportunity for those looking to work in this beautiful community. You must be fellowship trained or have a CAQ in interventional radiology and you can expect to see between 1,500 and 1,700 cases annually. As a new radiologist for the group, you will see CT, MRI, US, and some nuclear modalities and will be stationed at one hospital per week; however, you will have the ability to change your scenery since the group covers three hospitals. Excellent equipment, a full benefits package, Phillips Stentor PACS, and a separate call schedule are all perks of this position. This is a hard working, laid back group that is growing fast because of its geographical location. The area is one of the finest locations providing a dynamic collection of venues promoting the arts, history, culture, and the reflection of a pure Montana experience. It is nestled in and around one of the grandest natural creations, the Rocky Mountains, with the Missouri River running through the middle of the community. If you love the outdoors and all of its beauty, you need to explore this before you accept your next position.
