About Florida Radiology Jobs
Radiology jobs are regulated by the Florida Medical Board. As part of the Health Care Practitioner Regulation, the mission of the Florida Board of Medicine is to protect health care consumers by establishing and enforcing health care standards, licensing qualified health care practitioners and facilities, and disseminating health care information to the public. The Florida Board of Medicine evaluates applications for licensure and examination, conducts board meetings, administers policy, issues final orders in imposing discipline, reviews and approves continuing education providers, and audits licensure compliance for continuing education.
Florida Hospital, a seven-campus tertiary hospital system in Central Florida, is seeking two Neuroradiologists to join its established practice of nearly 50 radiologists. Florida Hospital is the largest hospital in the United States and is a member of the Adventist Health System. Our seven hospitals consist of over 2000 licensed beds, more than 2000 medical staff members and approximately 16,000 employees.
We are aggressively seeking two full-time ABR certified Neuroradiologists for day OR night shifts. Ideal candidate would be proficient in functional and perfusion imaging and desire to concentrate on almost 100% Neuro. Neuro fellowship and CAQ is preferred.
The practice model is a physician led, sub-specialty based, virtual private practice through a subsidiary of Florida Hospital. The opportunity includes an extremely competitive base compensation, excellent professional liability coverage with no tail obligation, 10-12 weeks paid time off, health insurance for the physician and family, relocation and retirement.
This opportunity would allow the flexibility of working in suburban, community-based hospitals or a large tertiary, downtown facility. It would also include night time teleradiology coverage. If you are looking for sunny weather, numerous family activities, nearby beaches, strong public and private education systems, shopping, entertainment, and theme parks, the Central Florida area is for you!
