The radiologist is unlike other physicians because diagnoses and interpretations are made from medical images. Images are taken in a variety of ways by using x-rays or with radioactive substances. Some images are produced by sound waves or the body's innate magnetism. General Diagnostic Radiologist
Job opportunity for Radiologists in a large successful practice that has been serving the Washington State area for over ten years and is located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Expanding services have created a demand for several new General Radiologists and an Interventional Radiologist. The new radiologists will read MRI, CT, US, Mammography, Nuclear, Plain Films, and some basic Interventional. This group provides coverage for many large hospitals located throughout the state, seven outpatient imaging centers, and several smaller hospitals which are all located in the Pacific Northwest. They utilize state-of-the-art equipment and are using a GE centricity PACS system with Powerscribe. A great schedule is part of this opportunity with all of the weekly night call being transferred to this group’s tele-radiology center. Compensation is generous and the new physician will be on a one or two-year partnership track.
