About Radiology Jobs
According to the AMA, only 1.2% of physicians specialize in radiology (compare that with 16.7% of physicians that practice the specialty of internal medicine). The radiologist is unlike other physicians because diagnoses and interpretations are made from medical images. Images are taken in a variety of ways by using x-rays or with radioactive substances. Some images are produced by sound waves or the body's innate magnetism. Along with the medical image findings, a radiologist correlates them with other tests, and makes recommendations for additional examinations or treatments.(Source: radiologyinfo.com)

There is a unique opportunity for a Neuro radiologist to join a prestigious group of 12.
. The candidate can expect to do 50% or more. Fellowship trained is preferred. An Ohio license is a must as the need is immediate. The group services several hospitals plus several imaging centers. The call is 1-5, and 1- 5 weekends.There is a one-year partnership track. Nighthawk kicks in from 9pm to 7am, PAC is in place. The group boasts their State of The Art equipment, which includes 3-64 slice CT scanners, 3 -16 slice CT scanners, .7 Hitachi Tesla Magnet, .4 Hitachi Tesla Magnet and 1.5 Tesla Magnet. The salary is 350k .Partners make 475k. The bonus starts once you become partner. The expected volume ranges from 15k to 25k reads a year.
