About Radiology Jobs
According to the AMA, only 1.2% of physicians specialize in radiology (compare that with 16.7% of physicians that practice the specialty of internal medicine). The radiologist is unlike other physicians because diagnoses and interpretations are made from medical images. Images are taken in a variety of ways by using x-rays or with radioactive substances. Some images are produced by sound waves or the body's innate magnetism. New York Radiology Opening
An opportunity exists for a mammographer to join a group in the greater New York City area in the next few months. This group is seeking to meet growing needs in the greater New York City area. They offer competitive compensation, based on experience, with 7 weeks of vacation. Equipment is state of the art and both PACS and nighthawk are in place. Call can be taken from home and is generally one week a month, but is very manageable, due to the fact that nighthawk coverage begins around 9 pm and continues until 8 am.
