About Tennessee Radiology Jobs
Radiology jobs are regulated by the Tennessee Medical Board. The mission of the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners is to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of Tennesse citizens by requiring those who practice medicine and surgery within this state be qualified. To acheive this goal, the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners is responsible for awarding licenses to qualified medical candidates, interpreting the laws, rules, and regulations to determine the appropriate standards of practice, investigating alleged violations of the Practice Act and other rules, and disciplining licensees who are found guilty of such violations.
A large, sub-specialized radiology practice in a major Tennessee market has secured an additional outpatient imaging center contract and is recruiting an additional general radiologist. The group established over 40 years ago, and serves several hospitals, multiple outpatient imaging centers and a variety of other institutions and practices.
You can expect exams to include: CT, US, Nuclear Medicine, and plain films. Some basic mammo skills are also needed. Due to the size and scope of the practice, sub-specialty support is just a click away! All of the equipment is high-quality and state-of-the- art!
As this is an outpatient based position, there are no nights, weekends or any call involved. There is also some flexibility in the hours you would work, too!
You can expect initial compensation to be extremely competitive as an outpatient employee position. The group is willing to consider production incentives, and also offers additional work opportunities to maximize your earning potential.
Benefits include: 10 weeks vacation with flexibility for more time off if desired; Funded 401-K plan with profit sharing; Tennessee malpractice coverage; Family medical insurance; Tennessee Licensure; CME stipend; etc...
