According to the AMA, only 1.2% of physicians specialize in radiology (compare that with 16.7% of physicians that practice the specialty of internal medicine). The radiologist is unlike other physicians because diagnoses and interpretations are made from medical images. Images are taken in a variety of ways by using x-rays or with radioactive substances. $450k Community Hospital

General Radiology:

Practice all general radiology modalities including light intervention and mammography in an 166-bed community hospital
Limited on-site weekend work leads to an excellent quality of life
Equipment includes: 1.5T magnet, 2, multi-slice CT’s and FUJI PACS
Overnight FINAL READS beginning at 5pm
