Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens

A radiology group in northern Virginia is in need of radiologist locums coverage in women's imaging for the weeks of 5/1 - 5/5, 6/5 - 6/9, and a third week which dates can be flexible between April and June 2017. This is a team hospital setting and the schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, no call, and no weekends. Even though the day ends at 4:30pm the radiologist is expected to complete all work before they leave the worksite for the day. The site uses 3D Hologic Tomo, so the radiologist must be Tomo certified. The daily volume of work is 60-70 mammograms per day of which 10-15 are diagnostic, 8-10 breast ultrasounds, and 3 procedures per day consisting of breast biopsies both ultrasound guided and stereotactic, and needle localizations. Breast MRI is optional. A breast imaging fellowship is not required, but the group is looking for a radiologist with significant women's imaging experience and career focus.
