POSITION SUMMARY

Coastal Radiology, a Radiology Partners affiliate is seeking an Interventional Radiologist. The ideal candidate is IR Fellowship trained and proficient in general radiology. We are a 15 physician, progressive; multispecialty radiology group including two (2) fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologists. With a long history in the region and a dedicated vision for the future, we serve 3 regional medical centers, including Carolina East Medical Center, 5 imaging centers and provide state-of-the-art interventional services in both the hospital and outpatient offices. Supported by in-house IT, we have an established infrastructure for efficient, collaborative workflow throughout our practice.

This is a 3 year partnership track position on a Q3 rotation with rotating call weekdays and weekends. Vacation time begins at 8 weeks year 1 and will increase by a week the following 2 years. You can expect around 50% IR with the balance in diagnostic reads however; this is likely to change in 2018 with the addition of an oncology center. IR reads will then go to about 65%-75%.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Board certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist
• The ideal candidate will:
o Possess excellent communication skills
o Be licensed in the state of North Carolina
o CAQ in IR
o Be ACLS certified
