Sarasota Memorial Hospital is one of the largest public health systems in Florida specializing in heart, vascular, cancer and neuroscience services. They have a Level 3 NICU and a Level 2 Trauma Center.

This group practice emphasizes quality and safety using state-of-the art equipment and is one of the first radiology groups in the country to implement Clinical Decision Support (CDS) with ACR Select in order to reduce the rate of inappropriate testing.

POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Associates of Florida is seeking a Remote Diagnostic Radiologist to assist with our increasing volume in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading all areas of Dx Radiology with a focus on Acute Care Radiology (Emergency Room, ICU, Trauma, etc.).

The candidate would join the current team and work approximately 182 shifts per year on a typical “7 on/7 off” remote overnight schedule (9-hour shifts). A home workstation will be provided.

The position is eligible for the full range of benefits to include health insurance, 401K, med mal, etc. This position is eligible for partnership after three (3) years.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completion of an Emergency/Trauma Fellowship is preferred however will consider other sub-specialty training and general radiologists with experience
  • Medical license in the state of FL
