Subspecialties: Body Imaging, Emergency Imaging & Neuroradiology

Central Illinois Radiological Associates (CIRA) is an independent, physician owned private practice radiology group with 90+ physicians providing imaging interpretation and imaged guided intervention services to ambulatory facilities, clinics and hospitals throughout Illinois and entering into Michigan. CIRA’s multi-site platform has created a unique work model that has cultivated a thriving and enjoyable work environment with consistent growth and success. Our radiologists have developed positive, respected relationships within the communities they operate.

We are currently recruiting a radiologist with fellowship training in Body Imaging, Neuroradiology or Emergency Radiology to provide onsite overnight coverage at a Level I trauma facility in Springfield, Illinois. The radiologist will interpret imaging within their subspecialty and participate in general radiology interpretations, as well as perform infrequent general fluoroscopic procedures. In addition, we are looking for candidates with strong interpersonal & communication skills to cultivate relationships with hospitals, physicians, employees and patients who want to make the “CIRA Difference” in providing quality patient care to those we serve.

This position provides onsite night coverage from 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (beginning Monday evening to the following Monday morning) throughout the 17 weeks scheduled per year with the opportunity to work additional weeks. The 17 weeks of coverage will be interspersed throughout a 12 month period. Candidates would travel from their home location to work in Springfield during their 17 weeks of coverage.

We offer a variety of employment model opportunities along with a lucrative salary and benefit package and a great work environment!
