Company: Gateway Staffing Solutions, Inc.

Very stable seven-member group seeks a full-time board certified general radiologist for an outstanding outpatient imaging practice. The group covers multiple centers all within a 35-mile radius and they recently aligned themselves with one of the large hospital systems in the area. They have been the pre-eminent outpatient practice for nearly 25 years and can offer a level of stability that is hard to find in the outpatient arena. They seek a general radiologist able to read MR, CT US, plain films, a small amount of fluoro and mammo including 3-D tomosynthesis. Minimal invasive skills are preferable with the only needs being simple joint injections and occasional arthrograms.

They prefer a fellowship-trained radiologist but will consider a strong non-fellowship trained candidate with experience that has completed meaningful CME that can add to the group's skill base. The need is ASAP, but they can wait for the right candidate. 2021 fellows are welcome to apply. No one particular fellowship preferred over another but the skills likely needed the most are neuro imaging along with the willingness to do screening mammo. They offer an upbeat, collaborative working environment where all associates get along very well with each other and regularly confer on tough cases. Their volume per radiologist day-to day is manageable, but their approach to attracting and growing business is unique in that patients get the results of their exam immediately, as opposed to having to wait often times days in the hospital world. It has worked very well for them and they anticipate plenty of continued future growth.

For the right candidate they are offering equal income and equal vacation from the outset. They each take eight weeks of vacation as well as an additional two slush days off per month, which essentially equates to 1/4 of the year off. They strongly desire a solid training background as well as a good work ethic to help them continuing to grow the practice into the future. Someone that is good-natured, down-to-earth that works well with referring clinicians is going to be the type of person that can easily succeed in an enviable practice like this.
