Clinical Nurse Specialist


 

Nueroscience Clinical Nursing Specialist 

 

San Francisco East Bay not-for-profit 350 bed acute care hospital is currently recruiting for Clinical Nurse Specialist:

Neuroscience (stroke unit)

 

Summary of Duties:  Provides professional and specialized care to a specific patient population & their families through patient & staff education, consultation and clinical research.  The goal of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is to improve the quality of care given to patients and their families through clinical and educational expertise.

 

Educational Requirements:  MSN required.

 

Licensure:  Current California RN license required.  AHA BLS, ACLS required.  Clinical Nurse Specialist certification by the Board of Registered Nursing required.  Certification in specialty preferred.

 

Experience Requirements:  Documentation of at least one year experience in the nursing specialty: neuroscience.  

 

 

Special skills or abilities:  Demonstrates excellent teaching, communication and writing skills.  

 

Salary Range:  $120,000. to $150,000. with a competitive benefits and retirement package.
