Job Description:


Assess, identify needs, plan, implement appropriate interventions, document, evaluate outcomes, assist physicians with procedures, monitor patient’s vitals and may assist with front office or various other clerical/administrative duties. Areas of practice are: general and interventional radiology, CT, MRI, PET, ultrasound, myelography, and pain management.

Familiarity with and ability to use specialized equipment (EKG, O2, monitors)
Knowledge and ability to do necessary nursing functions
Ability to assist patients onto table
Knowledgeable of catheters, if applicable
Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and appropriate fashion
Ability to stand for as much as 90% of your shift and during all patient interactions

Job Requirements:


The above knowledge, skills and abilities may be demonstrated by successful completion of an accredited nursing program; state and federal licenses (as applicable); ACLS and BLS Certifications a must. Radiology experiences a plus!
