Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/07/2014Available Shifts: Part Time

Small hospital in Wisconsin needs ongoing coverage throughout 2014 for diagnostic radiology. Radiologist will work 8am to noon every Tuesday and Thursday, no call, no weekends. Must read all modalities and be board certified around 30 studies per day, 20 of which are Mammography.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
