The largest provider of out-patient imaging services in San Diego is seeking a Director of Administrative Services. They provide state of the art imaging technology with an experienced staff of board certified radiologists, technologists and support personnel that are committed to providing the most accurate, safe, timely and caring medical imaging and interventional radiology services.
As a key member of the management team, this position will report directly to the Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development. Position will be responsible for developing and implementing overall coordination of policies, practices and procedures as they relate to patient scheduling and registration, transcription, courier/medical records, as well as overseeing clinical training functions and operations. This position will oversee the supervisors and leads charged with managing the aforementioned clinical and administrative functions for all business units. This position is also accountable for accuracy, productivity, statistical analysis, budget preparation, meeting timeliness, and all other service goals established by senior management.
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s in Business Administration Health Administration or preferred.
Demonstrated detail orientation and the ability to independently problem solve is essential. o Three to five years administrative/management experience in a healthcare facility or equivalent o Experience in high volume Radiology practice or strong knowledge or Radiology terminology preferred. o Strong leadership and excellent verbal and written communication skills required. o Proven track record in communicating with Physicians and healthcare staff. o A proven ability to motivate staff and independently work through interdepartmental processes. o Must possess proven analytical/research/trouble-shooting and project management skills. o Training experience is a plus.
