The Imaging department is recruiting for an Imaging Operations Manager to work under the direction of the Medical Director and Senior Director and assist the Supervisors/Lead Technologists and Clerical Support staff to insure safe, satisfactory, and timely patient procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Managing staffing levels and recommend changes as needed
• Represent the department by participating in various hospital committees as assigned
• Enforce hospital and departmental policies with consistency and fairness
• Insure that employee evaluations are completed timely and with consistency
• Support Service Excellence standards and continuously strive for improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Imaging Sciences, Healthcare or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Five years supervisory experience
• Prior PACs and RIS (Meditech) experience is preferred
• Certification in any of the Imaging Science, i.e., ARRT, NMTCB, ARDMS, etc
• Knowledge of all current JCAHO standards relevant to Imaging Services
• Understand and enforce the safe use of radiation
• Superior communication skills (verbal and written) and have experience with progressive discipline process
