Administrative Manager, Radiology


Coastal city offering numerous shopping, dining and recreational opportunities

An acute care community teaching hospital

Responsible for:

1. JCAHO inspections- assures that JCAHO requirements are met

2. MQSA inspections- assures that MQSA requirements are met

3. Meets requirements of State and Federal agencies

4. Quality assurance for the department

5. Quality control for the department

6. CR - PACS image quality

7. Supervises the X-ray technologists, Cat Scan technologists and MRI
technologists

8. Payroll for assigned areas

9. Supervises the maintenance of records and documents required for the
department

10. Image quality control

11. Prepares daily, weekly and monthly schedules for x-ray staff

12. Functions as a Technologist providing direct patient care approximately 10% of the time.

Reports to the Administrative Director of Radiology

ARRT registered and Connecticut state license required.
Five years work experience as a Radiologic technologist and two years supervisory experience in Radiology. Bachelors degree preferred.
