Currently, we have an excellent opportunity available for a Director, Radiology IT looking to spark innovation in healthcare IT at our world-class medical center.
In this highly visible role, you will lead the development of IT solutions for our Radiology Department. This involves working with Radiology Department leaders to assess departmental IT needs, overseeing all members of Radiology IT, and managing new implementations and upgrades for radiology-supported systems. You will also be expected to maintain direct contact with end-users to ensure that all issues are continually addressed.
Qualified candidates will have 5 years’ experience implementing IT solutions for large medical institutions; 3-5 years’ experience in medical IT with a strong background in radiology; and exceptional communication, presentation and multitasking skills. Experience with PACS, RIS, speech and document systems are preferred, as is knowledge of new trends and innovations within medical IT.
