About Maryland Radiology Support Professional Jobs
Radiology Support Professional jobs are regulated by the Maryland Medical Board. The mission of the Maryland Board of Physicians is to protect the health and safety of the citizens of Maryland through strong enforcement of licensure standards for physicians and allied health providers practicing in the state of Maryland and through an effective disciplinary program.
MEDRAD needs two (2) CSS's for Baltimore/DC and Seattle, WA. Candidates must live in target areas to receive consideration for these positions or be able to relocate without assistance.
The Clinical Support Specialist will promote the clinical value of MEDRAD’s products and services and perform product evaluations and training customers on the safe operation of MEDRAD products. This position will team with other field functions to promote and develop long-term relationships with our customers as well as with OEM / Contrast counterparts. Additional responsibilities will include:
1. Promote the clinical value of MEDRAD products and services by scheduling and performing product evaluations and in-service; meet with customers (technologists, physicians, directors) to capture and understand their goals and challenges and to demonstrate value of MEDRAD solutions to customers; call on new and existing accounts to promote the clinical value of MEDRAD products and create opportunities by establishing credibility; assess customer needs and provide solutions/recommendations; work closely with the Sales and Service Reps to understand client needs and changes and build and maintain long-term relationships with MEDRAD customers and OEM/Contrast counterparts.
2. Administration and maintaining database of accounts in a timely basis; prepare and submit reports/information by required deadlines; manage field expenses; track customer satisfaction survey results and comments; contact survey respondents when necessary; manage the PM Process
3. Remain current on MEDRAD products, new technologies as well as the competitive landscape within the medical device industry; attend key exhibits and conventions to evaluate new applications/competitors; research information on competitors and their strategies; maintain A.R.R.T. license; remain fully competent with MEDRAD products through product training and self initiative.
4. Build and maintain effective relationships with MEDRAD customers and OEM / Contrast counterparts; ever changing medical imaging market (newly emerging medical devices and competitive landscape); new MEDRAD product introductions and additional manpower responsibilities
5. Frequent overnight travel (50-75%) may be required as well as periodic travel outside of the incumbents own territory boundaries in order to meet business needs.
Technical & Behavioral Requirements:
1. Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or ARMRIT is required
2. Associate and/or Bachelor degrees in a related technical discipline is preferred
3. A minimum of 2 years experience as an RT and CT Tech are required
4. A minimum of 2 years experience as an MR Tech is preferred
5. Experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech in PET imaging will be considered a plus
6. Proficiency with MS Office is required
7. Strong detail orientation, organizational skills and verbal communication and listening skills to interact with physicians, clinical staff, and internal staff and to develop training programs.
8. Presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to coach others on use of products and clinical applications.
9. Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
10. Strong competency in Customer Focus, Driving for Results, Integrity and Trust, Ethics and Values and Compassion.
11. Proven ability to demonstrate at minimum, MEDRAD’s Team Contributor competencies: Action Oriented, Perseverance, Dealing with Ambiguity, Learning on the fly and Problem Solving.
