RADIOLOGY MANAGER
GOLETA VALLEY COTTAGE HOSPITAL
Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is a 122-bed acute care hospital founded in 1966 to serve the growing community of Goleta Valley. The hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical and critical care services. We admit more than 1,600 patients a year and see more than 18,000 emergency visits. GVCH is also recognized for its Center for Wound Management and its Breast Care Center.
This position is responsible for management of the day-to-day operation of the Radiology Department and the Breast Care Center, an outpatient breast imaging center located adjacent to the hospital in the hospital’s medical office building. There are 23 direct reports in the two departments. The Radiology department provides inpatient and outpatient general radiology, radiology and fluoroscopy, ultrasound and CT scanning. The Breast Care Center has just completed installation of a new digital mammography machine and stereotactic biopsy table – the only digital capability within the Cottage Health System. The department is a clinical training site for Radiology students from Santa Barbara City College.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Imaging Management experience and a valid CA license. This position requires excellent communication, organizational and computer skills. We are looking for a dynamic and creative leader who enjoys teamwork.
