Due to rapid technology advancement and improvements in electronic transmission of medical images, Teleradiology has emerged as a viable and cost effective alternative for many hospitals and clinics needing coverage for medical imaging.
Teleradiology transmits radiological images, such as x-rays, CTs, and MRIs, from one location to another for the purposes of interpretation and/or consultation. Digital images are transmitted over a distance using standard telephone lines, satellite connections, or local area networks (LANs). Teleradiology also is beginning to include the process of interfacing with the HIS/RIS systems in the transporting of digital images.(Source: filmdigitizer.com)
Interventional Radiologist
Medical Professional Associates of Arizona, P.C. (MedPro) has immediate practice opportunities for BC / BE Interventional Radiologist.
MedPro is searching for a full time interventional radiologist with fellowship training and a strong interest in academics.
MedPro offers a diversified Radiology practice working with all modalities. MedPro’s Radiology group serves as faculty for Maricopa Medical Center (MMC) which is a teaching hospital with a Radiology Residency program with a close affiliation with the University of Arizona.
