Teleradiology jobs are regulated by the Florida Medical Board. As part of the Health Care Practitioner Regulation, the mission of the Florida Board of Medicine is to protect health care consumers by establishing and enforcing health care standards, licensing qualified health care practitioners and facilities, and disseminating health care information to the public. The Florida Board of Medicine evaluates applications for licensure and examination, conducts board meetings, administers policy, issues final orders in imposing discipline, reviews and approves continuing education providers, and audits licensure compliance for continuing education.
Join 12 member radiology team at their 750 bed trauma one facility. Responsibilities would include patient care, complemented by research and /or educational activities.There is flexibility to take on a 100% caseload or mix it up with General Diagnostics.
They are undergoing significant expansion of on-campus and community based radiology facilities and advanced imaging capabilities to support anticipated growth in institutional clinical, investigative, and educational activities.

The campus currently includes a growing 750 bed medical center contributing to US News and World Report Top 50 Heart, Heart Surgery, Neurology, and Neuro surgery programs. Also include comprehensive stroke programs, high risk obstetrics and level 3 NICU programs, and an affiliation with a local pediatrics hospital. It recently opened its Proton Therapy facility.
Equipment is new state-of-the-art including Digital mammography with iCAD, two 1.5T MRI's, one 3T MRI, six Sequoia US machines, one 64-CT, two 16-CTs, one CT/PET, one Dual Source CT, 3D Imaging with TeraRecon and Syngo, three interventional rooms (5 years old or newer), upgrade to flat detectors anticipated, McKesson PACS, fully digital using CR and DR.
