Radiology Consultants, Inc., is a six-radiologist practice recruiting for an associate who wishes to join a professionally and personally rewarding general radiology practice in Fairbanks, Alaska. The ideal candidate should have interest in all imaging modalities.
Current caseload exceeds 80,000 examinations and includes both outpatient and inpatient services. The practice provides services for Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. The hospital equipment is state-of-the-art. A 57,000 square foot imaging center opened in June 2005. Complete renovation of the inpatient department was completed spring of 2007. Hospital and imaging center equipment includes Fuji PACS (100% filmless with teleradiology/PACS from home), 3 Siemens 1.5T Avanto MRIs 1.5T, with room reserved for a 3T., 2 Siemens 64 MDCTs, 2 Siemens Ecams, 1 ADAC Forte, Fisher Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Lorad Hologic-Instrumentarium digital mammography and 5 Acuson Sequoia ultrasound units. Pet/CT pending. Limited interventional procedures. Nighthawk coverage.
Radiology Consultants is a hospital-based group practicing since 1965, currently serving the Fairbanks area with a total of population 98,000.
