BC Radiologist to Staff Teleradiology Practice


The VA National Teleradiology Program in conjunction with the Department of Radiology at the Durham VA Medical Center is seeking board certified radiologists to staff the teleradiology practice.  Both are based in Durham, North Carolina.  The teleradiology center will provide interpretations for VA medical centers and clinics all over the United States.  Scope of practice includes CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and plain film.  Reasonable volume, limited call responsibilities. 

The Durham VA is closely affiliated with Duke University and is staffed by both by Duke residents and faculty, as well as, four VA radiologists. 

State of the art equipment at the Durham VA includes Philps PACS, two 64 slice GE Lightspeed CT scanners, Phillips DR and fluoroscopy units, as well as two new magnets, a Phillips Achieva Quasar 3T and Achieva XR 1.5T, to be installed within the next two years. 

Suitable applicants may be credentialed both for the Durham VA and VA National Teleradiology Program with full or part-time VA appointments.
