About Teleradiology Jobs
Due to rapid technology advancement and improvements in electronic transmission of medical images, Teleradiology has emerged as a viable and cost effective alternative for many hospitals and clinics needing coverage for medical imaging.
Teleradiology transmits radiological images, such as x-rays, CTs, and MRIs, from one location to another for the purposes of interpretation and/or consultation. Digital images are transmitted over a distance using standard telephone lines, satellite connections, or local area networks (LANs). Teleradiology also is beginning to include the process of interfacing with the HIS/RIS systems in the transporting of digital images.(Source: filmdigitizer.com)

If you have been fellowship trained in Body Imaging or have served as a Body Imaging Attending for more than two years in one or more academic facilities, please consider serving as Director of Body Imaging (16 slice CT, 3T MRI and sono) at a private practice facility in Manhattan.
Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal radiology applicants are not sought.
The office is centrally located and spacious.
All reads may be performed via teleradiology, except for sonography. You may opt not to perform sonography.
