Due to rapid technology advancement and improvements in electronic transmission of medical images, Teleradiology has emerged as a viable and cost effective alternative for many hospitals and clinics needing coverage for medical imaging.
Teleradiology transmits radiological images, such as x-rays, CTs, and MRIs, from one location to another for the purposes of interpretation and/or consultation. Digital images are transmitted over a distance using standard telephone lines, satellite connections, or local area networks (LANs). Teleradiology also is beginning to include the process of interfacing with the HIS/RIS systems in the transporting of digital images.(Source: filmdigitizer.com)

Practice 7 days on/ 7 days off on a Monday-Sunday schedule from gorgeous Hawaii. State-of-the-art reading center with top of the line monitors and connectivity. 24/7 technical suppport and administrative support provided. Position is as an independent contractor with malpractice provided and a per piece compensation package.
