About Teleradiology Jobs
Due to rapid technology advancement and improvements in electronic transmission of medical images, Teleradiology has emerged as a viable and cost effective alternative for many hospitals and clinics needing coverage for medical imaging.
Teleradiology transmits radiological images, such as x-rays, CTs, and MRIs, from one location to another for the purposes of interpretation and/or consultation. Digital images are transmitted over a distance using standard telephone lines, satellite connections, or local area networks (LANs). Teleradiology also is beginning to include the process of interfacing with the HIS/RIS systems in the transporting of digital images.(Source: filmdigitizer.com)
Fellowship trained, 2 years experience needed. Office will be in corporate headquarters, located in Atlanta (Buckhead), GA. Non-clinical setting; low-stress environment. Salary plus productivity and benefits. State licenses preferred: California, New York, Georgia, South Carolina, Indiana, Florida.
