General Radiologist Needed


Group of six radiologists and two PA's is recruiting a general radiologist. The group contracts with one 350-bed facility and have a 100% group-owned imaging center. The group has an exclusive contract with the hospital and have been with the hospital for over 30 years.

Incoming physician should expect MR, CT, US, PET and Nuc, fluoro, mammo and basic IR. Any cardiac imaging is a plus!  All equipment is brand new and state-of-the-art, including two 64-slice CT scanners as well as 1.5T and 2.5T MR units. PACS is fully integrated and will be switching to McKesson, summer 2009.

The call is a 1:4 and nighthawk is in place from 10p-7am Monday-Sunday.

The group is offering an initial salary of at least $350K, which is negotiable based on experience. The partnership track is only one year, and partner earnings exceed $650,000!

Benefits include: malpractice coverage; 12 weeks vacation from day one; $12,000 CME stipend; family health coverage as well as vision, disability, and life insurance; profit sharing plan, 401K, a negotiable relocation package, computer expense and telerad set up in home with roadrunner, IT person on site,  and an entertainment allowance! All licensure (all states) is paid for as well.

The group also benefits from a staff of 50 plus employees, who handle the groups internal billing and collections.
