About Ultrasound Jobs
Ultrasound imaging is sometimes referred to as Sonography. It's a process of taking images of the human body by using high-frequency sound waves. Images from reflected echoes are displayed and recorded. No radiation (x-ray) is used during ultrasound.
Ultrasound is an excellent means of investigating many internal organs in the body. The heart, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and bladder are just a few. Carilion Clinic has a position available for an ABMS-BC Radiologist to join the faculty of Carilion Clinic's Section of Radiology (New River) located on the campus of Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.
