Ultrasound imaging is sometimes referred to as Sonography. It's a process of taking images of the human body by using high-frequency sound waves. Images from reflected echoes are displayed and recorded. No radiation (x-ray) is used during ultrasound.
Ultrasound is an excellent means of investigating many internal organs in the body. The heart, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and bladder are just a few. Mammographer North of NYC
A private practice an hour north of New York City is looking for a mammographer. This employee position has a starting compensation of around $350,000 with 8 weeks of vacation. This position consists of a 5 day work week with no nights, no weekends and no call. They are all digital and have both PACS and voice recognition software in place. Daily mammography reads for this 100% mammography position run about 60-70 reads per day. It is possible to live in New York City and work in this easily commutable area.
