Ultrasound imaging is sometimes referred to as Sonography. It's a process of taking images of the human body by using high-frequency sound waves. Images from reflected echoes are displayed and recorded. No radiation (x-ray) is used during ultrasound.
Ultrasound is an excellent means of investigating many internal organs in the body. The heart, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and bladder are just a few. MR Radiologist
Outstanding Radiology job opportunity with a mid-sized, private group located in southwest Louisiana. This practice, which covers four hospitals and four imaging centers, is looking for a fellowship trained MRI/ MSK Radiologist to help with their MR work. The group currently has three 1.5 T MRI units and one 3.0T MRI. As the new associate, you will enjoy doing MR work 55% of your time and the other 45% of the time you will be doing general work. The group is fully PACS and the members of the group typically work a 7:30 to 5:00 shift daily. Call will be 1:6 on the week and weekends alike and the group has Nighthawk in place to take all the call after 10 pm. This group is the only group in this area and it is conveniently located between two major cities. This is a partnership opportunity with the years to partner determined by experience. The compensation is exceptional for the area and the total package is enhanced with a full benefits package along with 14-16 weeks vacation as a partner. The area is known for its gaming, the great outdoors, culinary delights, rhythm and blues, and it’s many festivals. It's a tropical climate with Southern hospitality and many things to do.
