Ultrasound imaging is sometimes referred to as Sonography. It's a process of taking images of the human body by using high-frequency sound waves. Images from reflected echoes are displayed and recorded. No radiation (x-ray) is used during ultrasound.
Ultrasound is an excellent means of investigating many internal organs in the body. The heart, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and bladder are just a few. Radiology Specialists of Florida is seeking a fellowship trained Interventional Radiologist to join its practice of 53 radiologists. With seven fellowship trained interventionalists on staff, we are looking for a team-oriented, highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join the team. Our group has an exclusive agreement at 8 hospitals and 5 imaging centers. These facilities provide more than 1 million exams via a large referral base of more than 2000 medical staff.
We are seeking a full-time ABR certified Interventional Radiologist for a day position. Ideal candidate would be proficient in all interventional services and have a special interest in oncology. Interventional radiology CAQ is preferred.
The practice model is a sub-specialty based interpretations. The opportunity includes an extremely competitive base compensation, excellent professional liability coverage with no tail obligation, 10-12 weeks paid time off, health insurance for the physician and family, relocation and retirement.
