Ultrasound Sonographer
Location: Arizona
Start Date: July 28, 2008
Position Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3rd Shift, 4-10s
Shift Days: Sun - Wed
Call: Yes, 1-2 per month
Equipment Type: Accuson Sequoia and GE Logic
Exams Required: AB, OB/GYN, all trimesters, venous dopplar, small parts, extremities
Certifications: ARDMS required, RVT & (AB) preferred
Uniform: Scrubs (tech must provide)
Types of Procedures: General Ultrasound with an emphasis in AB, basic vascular and echo. They are required to know DVTs and Carotids for vascular and need to know adult echo.
