Now Hiring at Providence Alaska Medical Center:REGISTERED SONOGRAPHER / RVT
Performs and evaluates sonographic examinations and physiologic vascular testing. Obtains clinical history and performs a physical assessment of the patient's condition to determine appropriate testing protocol. Provides a technical interpretation of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis.
Requirements:
-Must have credentials from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers in a minimum of three specialties including vascular technology.
-Completion of an accredited ultrasound program (minimum one year in length) and an Associate’s Degree in a related health care field.
-Two years’ recent full-time paid experience in abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular technology preferred.
