Ultrasound imaging is sometimes referred to as Sonography. It's a process of taking images of the human body by using high-frequency sound waves. Images from reflected echoes are displayed and recorded. No radiation (x-ray) is used during ultrasound.
Ultrasound is an excellent means of investigating many internal organs in the body. The heart, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and bladder are just a few. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Full Time ARDMS/RVT Ultrasound Technologist for our center in Fayetteville, NC.
The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for providing quality patient care while producing ultrasound images and patterns used for patient diagnosis and treatment. The responsibilities also include completing scans effectively and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care possible in order to provide the most remarkable patient experience.
Qualified candidates must have:
· Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program, ARDMS registered and specific modality certification (i.e.: OB, AB, RVT)
