About Ultrasound Tech Jobs
Ultrasound imaging is sometimes referred to as Sonography. It's a process of taking images of the human body by using high-frequency sound waves. Images from reflected echoes are displayed and recorded. No radiation (x-ray) is used during ultrasound.
Ultrasound is an excellent means of investigating many internal organs in the body. The heart, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and bladder are just a few. One of the benefits of ultrasound is that images are in real time giving Physicians a helpful tool for diagnoses.(Source: radiologyinfo.com)

Ultrasound Technologist, Sonographer
Fast pace department. Must be able to work independently.
3 shifts available.
1) Monday - Friday; 11:30 am - 8pm, rotating call
2) Monday - Friday; 2:30pm - 11pm, rotating call
3) Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 8:30am - 9pm, some call may be required.
Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes.
Equipment: Acuson Sequoia
ARDMS
Three (3) Years Experience
Extensive OB experience a must.
