Requirements:

State of DE Radiation License and graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in a health care related field desirable.

Overview:

Assists the Director/Manager in the technical management by ensuring proper day to day operations of the area. Serves as a resource person for team members. Primary duties include ensuring compliance with policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, problem solving, teaching/training, and communication. Responsible for the area of Radiology. Acts as the technical expert for Radiologic Imaging, interacting with radiologists to modify exam protocols and distributes changes to the team. Creates and maintains team schedules; assures compliance with Regulatory agencies such as the Joint Commission and the American College of Radiology; assures customer service standards are met; assures quality standards are met.

Ability to communicate effectively, pleasantly, cooperatively, and discretely with patients, physicians, team members, and the general public. Able to work under pressure and maintain patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills and ability to relate well with people.
