Affinity Medical Solutions Operating Division (AMS) of University HealthCare Alliance in Oakland, CA, has a new opportunity for an Imaging Specialist II located in San Pablo, CA. Under general supervision, the Imaging Specialist will perform radiologic diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries. The successful candidate will have demonstrated competence in all breast imaging procedures, including Screening Mammography and Diagnostic Mammography; the ability to accurately present patient studies for interpretation and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images for proper detail, density and accuracy; knowledge of radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff; experience with RIS and PACS systems; and a high degree of tact, courtesy and poise while explaining procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain patient cooperation.

This position is listed as part-time; however, full-time is an option.

Minimum qualifications include:


  • High School Diploma/GED
  • California Certified Radiologic Technologist License from state of California (CRT)
  • California Mammography Certificate, AART Certification in Mammography
  • Two years of clinical experience with Mammography
  • Current BLS
