Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Part-Time (24 hrs/wk), Evening Shift – Job #870369

100% travel as part of the Central Cluster Float Pool. Hours will be 4:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.; Monday, Wednesday and Friday with rotating weekends. Primary cluster locations: Capitol Hill, Frederick, Gaithersburg, Kensington, Largo & Shady Grove

In this role, you will perform ultrasound examinations of patients as requested by referring physicians.

Qualifications Include:

  • At least one year of full-time experience as a sonographer
  • Completion of an ARDMS accredited or equivalent program in ultrasound technology
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) in abdomen and/or OB/GYN
  • CPR certification
  • Certifications such as breast or RVT preferred
  • Non-Registered Sonographers may be considered; however, Sonographers must have met experience, education, and training requirements and upon hire, Sonographer must sit for and pass abdomen and/or OB/GYN Registry within one year of employment
  • The ability to travel to other locations, such as: Capitol Hill, Frederick, Gaithersburg, Kensington, Largo, and Shady Grove
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to stand, push, pull, walk, bend, lift at least 50 pounds, hear, speak, and see; you may be required to lift objects heavier than 50 pounds, perform difficult manipulative skills, and hand-eye coordination skills, walk and stand for prolonged periods, see objects closely, and hear normal sounds with some background noises
  • The ability to adjust routine to accommodate patient or department without affecting departmental flow
  • The ability to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption and attend to tasks for 20 to 45 minutes at a time
  • Proficiency in the use of applicable computer software
  • Knowledge of customer focused service requirements of the organization
  • The ability to communicate pleasantly and effectively with members and coworkers
  • The ability to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills

CT Technologist

Part-Time(24hrs/wk), Day Shift – Job #870470

100% travel as part of the Central Cluster Float Pool. Hours will be 11:30 p.m. to 8 a.m.; Monday, Wednesday and Friday with rotating weekends. Primary cluster locations: Capitol Hill, Gaithersburg, Kensington, & Largo.

In this role, you will perform computerized tomography (CT) examinations of patients as requested by referring physicians.

Qualifications Include:

  • At least one year of experience as a CT Technologist or registry eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT; however, for new hires in classification, certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire
  • At least two years of recent experience as a Radiological Technologist with ARRT
  • A graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Specialized training in computerized tomography
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT advanced certification in CT required or within 12 months of employment for new hires
  • Licensed in appropriate jurisdiction
  • Venipuncture competency checks off or must acquire competency check off within three months of hire
  • BLS certification
  • Current on CEUs with ARRT
  • The ability to travel to other locations, such as: Capitol Hill, Gaithersburg, Kensington, and Largo
  • The ability to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruptions and attend to tasks for 20 to 45 minutes at a time

100% travel as part of the Central Cluster Float Pool. Hours will be 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with rotating weekends. Primary cluster locations: Capitol Hill, Gaithersburg, Largo & Shady Grove.

In this role, you will perform a variety of MRI procedures and departmental support functions.

Qualifications Include:

  • At least one year of experience as an MRI technologist or ARRT advanced certification registry eligible with two years of recent experience as a radiologic technologist with ARRT
  • A graduate of an accredited radiology technology program or MRI Accredited Certificate Program
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Registered with the ARRT and MRI certified within 12 months of employment or have current ARMRIT Certification
  • A current BLS certification (AHA)
  • ARRT advanced certification registry eligible
  • Current in ARRT or ARMRIT CEU requirements
  • Venipuncture competency check off required within three months of hire
