Job Summary

Based in Roanoke, VA, our community-based health care organization encompasses a comprehensive network of hospitals, primary and specialty physician practices, and other complementary services.

Two skilled duties include MRI and Xray. Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures for radiological diagnosis or treatment of patients of all ages. Performs multi-modality procedures using computer processing skills, injection skills as needed, and other related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a radiologist or other credentialed specialist. Up to a $4,000 sign on bonus and up to $4,000 in relocation assistance is available.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or GED and Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required.

Experience: CPR required. One year of experience preferred in MRI. Will consider applicants who have completed MRI school or are currently enrolled in MRI school.

Licensure/Certification: Certified/registered by the ARRT in MRI or certified/registered in an Imaging profession by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS or a candidate for the MRI advance certification by meeting the ARRT candidate requirements. MRI technologists employed after May 1, 2014 have one (1) year to complete their advanced MRI certification. AHA BLS-HCP required. MRI certificate accepted.

Other: Good interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.
