Summary:
At the direction of a radiologist and/or other providers prepares patientsperforms imaging procedures and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnosticstudies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols whileutilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizationalcustomer service standards and supports the organizational excellenceinitiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication withpatients visitors and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists inpatient care areas as necessary. Responsible for performing all CT DiagnosticX-ray and Point of Care Lab Testing. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

One year of clinical experience in each CT and X-ray required.One year of clinical experience in each CT and X-ray required. Post high schoolcompletion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program isrequired. An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/oran undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred. ARRTregistered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer isrequired. Registered by the ARRT in CT within one year is required. AmericanHeart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) oran AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
