X-Ray Tech Full-Time Contract Openings throughout California (Urgent Care)

Rhino Medical is leading the charge in seeking out the best California licensed X-RayTechnologists available for full-time contract positions with one of the largest Urgent Care clinic systems in the country.

We have multiple positions available in: Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco Bay and San Diego as our clinics return to normal and continue providing the best care to our California neighbors. We are seeking quality candidates available full-time (Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p) beginning ASAP for 13-week contracts. These contracts often provide for ongoing extensions as well - depending on client and candidate preferences, of course.

About the Opportunity:

  • Contract Dates: ASAP for 13-weeks w/ option to extend
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00a - 5:00p)
  • No Weekends
  • No Call Requirements

Day-to-Day Snapshot:

  • Position patient under X-Ray machine, adjust immobilization devices, and provide appropriate radiation protection
  • Adjust switches regulating length and intensity of exposure and make minor adjustments to equipment
  • Administer routine X-Ray exams as ordered by the treating clinician and in accordance with scope of state license
  • Maintain quality assurance by performing appropriate validity tests and keeping quality assurance records
  • Performs ancillary testing and tasks (including but not limited to vaccines and injections, phlebotomy, pulmonary function tests, audiogram testing and respirator fit testing) as ordered by treating clinicians
  • Performs Department of Transportation and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited program for X-Ray technicians
  • Active California License
  • Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist Certificate (LMRT) or Certification from similar Radiologic Technology Program
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, clinical office environment
